Are you ready to skydive for a cause?

Raise a minimum of $1000 for a charity you love, and they’ll hook you up a voucher for our 12,000 ft skydive! It’s the perfect way to tick off that once-in-a-lifetime bucket list goal at NZ’s #1 rated drop zone, while doing serious good.

Choose one of our chosen charities below, from the Cancer Society, to the Rescue Helicopter to Ronald McDonald House. It might be in honour of someone who’s passed, a cause that’s affected your family, or just something close to your heart.

You’ll need to raise a minimum of $1000 to qualify for the voucher, so get cracking! Run a bake sale, a car wash, or just tell all your friends that you’re terrified of heights – we find that makes people open their wallets! We’d love to follow your journey, so tag us @taupotandemskydiving on the socials and we will share them on our Instagram and Facebook accounts to help you hit your goal.

How It Works

2. Raise at least $1000
3. Donate the entire amount to your charity, and let them know you’re skydiving with us!
4. We’ll send out your 12,000 ft skydive voucher
5. Book your jump and make the leap!

FAQs

What if I want to support a different charity?
No problem! Email us and we can ask them if they are happy to take your donation. We love to support new initiatives.

How do I set up my fundraiser page?
Each of our chosen charities have their own in-house fundraising platforms, so it’s super easy. Just click their logo above and set up your campaign! Tell your story – why are you raising money for this charity? Is the skydive a lifelong dream or your worst fear? People love to get behind a cause, and a challenge. Link to this page in your fundraiser so everyone knows what you’re doing and why. To make it even easier we have even written a blurb that you can copy and paste at the bottom of this page! Tip: If you want to donate to a different charity you can use a platform like Givealittle instead.

What if I raise more than $1000?
That’s amazing! All of it goes to your charity. We are hoping that people will raise thousands!

Can I do the skydive first and raise money later?
Sorry, this offer only applies after you’ve raised and donated the money. You’ve gotta do the mahi before the jumpy!

What happens if I don’t reach $1000?
Whatever you raise can still be donated to your chosen charity. But to be eligible for the 12,000 ft skydive voucher, you’ll need to hit $1000. If you fall short, you’re welcome to top it up yourself or extend your campaign a little longer.

Can I upgrade to a higher altitude or get camera?
For sure. Just let us know when you arrive and you can pay the difference to go higher or purchase any of our camera packages. Go big or go home!

So how does this work? Who actually pays for the skydive?
Your chosen charity will pay us directly for the skydive. We heavily discount the jump – that’s our part of giving back – and they use some of your raised funds to pay for the discounted skydive voucher.

Why isn’t the skydive completely free if I’m fundraising?
Great question! We’re super passionate about supporting our national and local charities, but we’re also a small, family-run business with aircraft, gear, and crew to look after. We also have our own charity donations – this year we gave away over $7,000 of skydiving vouchers to local clubs and fundraising initiatives! This setup helps everyone win — you get to do something incredible for yourself and for others, the charity gets a hefty donation, and we get to keep doing what we love too.

Why not just give $1000 to charity and not skydive?
Absolutely – you can go ahead and do that! But we’ve found that people are way more likely to donate when they know their mate is going to jump out of a plane. It gives your campaign a fun hook and helps you raise even more for your cause.

Terms & Conditions
Participants must raise a minimum of $1000NZD through a recognised fundraising platform. All funds must be donated to one of the chosen charities (featured above), who will then contact TTS and pay for the skydive. A voucher will be supplied by TTS.
