Taupo Tandem Skydiving began operating in 1992 as one of the first tandem drop zones in New Zealand.  Back then, the company operated out of a house at the Taupo airfield with a mere 15 crew members.

In 1998, skies turned bluer when a local family with strong roots in aviation took over the business.  The new owners helped TTS realise its full potential.  Today it is one of New Zealand’s largest and most respected skydiving organizations, complete with modern aircraft and 35 crew members.  Taupo Tandem Skydiving has the capacity to skydive over 100 tandem passengers per day!

Our operation is approved by the New Zealand Parachute Federation (NZPF) and our aircraft is maintained in accordance with the New Zealand Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).  Taupo Tandem Skydiving adheres to strict standards ensuring customer andemployee safety.
